Carly Trachtman

Carly Trachtman is a dedicated PhD candidate at UC Berkeley, specializing in Agricultural and Resource Economics with a keen focus on economic development, agriculture, and behavioral economics.

Her academic journey includes graduating from Parkland High School, pursuing an A.B. in Mathematics and Economics from Lafayette College, and currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural and Resource Economics at the University of California, Berkeley.

Carly's involvement in various roles showcases her diverse interests and capabilities, ranging from being a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Berkeley to holding leadership positions such as President at Lafayette College and serving as a Senior Interviewer, EXCEL Scholar, Supplemental Instructor, Choreographer, and Writing Associate.

Additionally, Carly has demonstrated her commitment to academic and personal growth through roles like Choreographers on Campus Student Dance Representative, Lafayette Ambassador/Office Employee, Extern at Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, and Programming Chair at Lafayette College.
