Emma Walker-Silverman

Emma Walker-Silverman is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse educational background. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in International Development, an MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies with Distinction, and a BA in Psychology with minors in Turkish Language and Comparative Studies of Race & Ethnicity. Emma also studied Turkish Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University and completed various courses in Social Psychology, Creative Writing, and Ethical Community Engagement at different prestigious institutions. In addition to her academic achievements, Emma has held various roles in well-respected organizations, including serving as a Warden at Lincoln College, University of Oxford, and holding editorial positions at the Oxford Monitor of Forced Migration and Istanbul&I. She has also worked as a Fulbright Researcher at The Turkish Fulbright Commission, a Teaching Fellow at Stanford University, and a Research Assistant at Stanford SPARQ, focusing on Social Psychological Answers to Real-world Questions.
