Boxhub is America's largest online marketplace for buying new and used shipping containers. Our platform makes it easy for anyone to buy a container to repurpose into something new.

⭐️ Built the HR, Recruitment and Office Operations functions from the ground up, implementing systems (HiBob, Lever), processes and documentation to centralize people & culture operations.
⭐️ Grew the team with a direct recruitment model of 20 > 70 people across product, engineering, supply chain, logistics, sales, finance, revops, people & culture and customer success.
⭐️ Represented people & culture on the management team, providing a voice for the people and guiding managers through solving people challenges and actioning employee feedback, increasing employee engagement scores by 18%.
⭐️ Coached and managed a People & Culture Advisor & a People Experience Coordinator.
⭐️ Built out a performance review structure and management training resources to support managing people, including 1:1s, growth plans, performance improvement plans, etc.
⭐️ Designed & implemented an onboarding process with custom 30/60/90 plans for each department and supported re-vamping the sales onboarding BootCamp.
⭐️ Produced our compensation philosophy, including undertaking compensation benchmarking, producing stock option guides, implementing Carta and designing and managing our benefits program. 
⭐️ Forged partnerships to aid our employer branding and talent acquisition with Women in Tech Sales, Palette Skills and Mentimeter. 
⭐️ Planned and executed a multi-day offsite for 50 employees, including launching and hosting our first-ever employee recognition awards.
⭐️ Reduced Office Operational spend by over 80% whilst maintaining employee experience.
⭐️ Led and navigated the company through a 53% team reduction, handling communication, employee engagement, and legal to ensure a smooth transition.

Bloom is a full-service workplace design consultancy founded on the belief that small but mighty teams can do great things and provides organizations with services in talent advisory, people and DEI.

⭐️ Collaborated with organizations as a fractional consultant to support them in full-cycle recruitment, my portfolio included; StackAdapt, Medme, Willful, CAMH, Versett, FitTrack, Canada Learning Code, Out On Screen, 437, BrandActive, to name a few.
⭐️ Successfully led Stackadapt’s hiring process to build their international Talent Acquisition team, which included hiring; VP, Talent Acquisition (US), Director of Talent Acquisition (UK), Talent Acquisition Lead (Singapore and APAC) and their first GTM Talent Recruiters in the US (Midwest & East Coast).
⭐️ Impacted clients quickly and turned around the Willful account by creating a sourcing strategy and filing their Full Stack Development roles within 3 weeks of joining.
⭐️ Coached clients on how to hire through the lens of DEI and provided advisory on changes in processes and systems to set them up for success.
⭐️ Produced a significant portion of the Bloom Academy for Recruitment curriculum, the rest being a collaborative effort and facilitated training sessions for individuals who signed up for the course. Bloom Academy supports recruiters/hiring managers/people leaders on how to get the systems and processes in place and recruit through a lens of anti-oppressive, equity and inclusion.
⭐️ Wrote blog posts and guides on various topics, from; how to manage bias in the hiring process to inclusive sourcing and engaging your organization in Pride month.
⭐️ Adapted to whichever tools were best for the client; at Bloom we used Lever (ATS), Slack, Google Suite and Notion. However, clients also required me to be able to use Humi (HRIS/ATS), Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Suite and Webex.

Senior Talent Advisor

Bonsai is a content-driven e-commerce startup partnering with publishers and merchants to integrate shopping experiences into their content.

⭐️ Set up the recruitment and HR department from the ground up and implemented best practices, policies, procedures, and software (Workable, CollageHR) to provide a better people and recruitment experience.
⭐️ Scaled the startup from 20 to 100 people in Canada and the US across; engineering, product design, customer experience, business operations, account management, merchant partnerships, data, product management and Scrum coaching teams.
⭐️ Managed 1 full-time talent experience coordinator and, during peak periods, managed both recruitment and HR contractors.
⭐️ Managing people and issues in the organization, providing consultation to employees to ensure their voices were heard and collaborating with managers to resolve issues or provide additional support.
⭐️Coaching and advising hiring teams on hiring processes, including providing interview training.
⭐️ Re-designed Bonsai’s entire hiring lifecycle and implemented new systems and processes, documenting them all Coda as part of a recruitment handbook.
⭐️ Implemented an attractive benefits program to increase the employee experience and streamlined benefits administration to save time.

Looka is using artificial intelligence to automate design and make it more accessible and affordable to entrepreneurs.

⭐️ Led and implemented talent acquisition and HR as one of the first hires, building their processes, systems and documentation.
⭐️ Sat on Looka’s management team and closely advised the company co-founders, supporting the Series A round and coaching them on management and internal communication.
⭐️ Successfully did full cycle recruitment across data science, product and brand design, engineering, customer success, operations, product, growth marketing and content marketing.
⭐️ Implemented, launched and managed; Health and safety programs and training, AODA, workplace harassment and violence and substance abuse policies.
⭐️ Designed the onboarding process and was responsible for onboarding new hires, collecting feedback and iterating on how we consistently onboarded.
⭐️ Regularly conducted company pulse checks and was the go-to person for employees for anything from benefits to learning and development and employee relations.
⭐️ Implemented and managed HRS (CollageHR), ATS (Workable) and expenses system (Expensify.) 
⭐️ Managed and mentored a Talent Coordinator to successfully source and work on people operations projects.

Huge is a user-centric design agency providing digital design, business strategy, technology, and marketing services to regional and global brands operating throughout Canada. Some of their clients include; Google, Nike, Canada Goose, Telus, Clearly.

⭐️ First recruiter to be brought into the Toronto office and bridge the gap between Toronto hiring processes and the New York head office. Aligning the TO office to the Huge way of working and adapting to the local market.
⭐️ Recruited across; product design, visual design, product management, client services, project management, content strategy, engineering, business strategy, planning and operations.
⭐️ In 11 months, doubled the size of the Toronto office, including headhunting key VP hires. 
⭐️ Additionally, supported and managed roles in the London and New York offices.

Radley Yeldar is a creative communications agency and consultancy specialising in B2B (FTSE100) clients and B2C. Some clients include; Shell, GSK, KPMG, Coca-Cola, Rolls Royce, Nestlé.

⭐️ Introduced in-house recruitment as a new role in the company, implemented a centralized recruitment model and brought recruitment processes in.
⭐️ Responsible for the annual recruitment budget of £120K and finished under budget 2 years in a row.
⭐️ Partnering with hiring managers, educating them on change and advising them on recruitment, as well as updating them on the market, salaries, rates and competitors.
⭐️ Sourcing and recruitment across; digital, brand, marketing communications, print, investor engagement, sustainability, employee engagement, brand and moving image.
⭐️ Managed the intern programme and responsible for finding new talent.
⭐️ Collaborated with the HR Manager and an external partner to run interview training for 56 hiring managers across the business.
