She excels in building partnerships, creating programs, securing investments, managing donor relations, and leading diverse teams while also monitoring financial trends and ensuring organizational financial health.
Emily's expertise has led to successful funding of microloans and grants, underwriting deals for SBA loans, and facilitating the growth and success of thousands of entrepreneurs, particularly low-income individuals, women, and entrepreneurs of color.
Beyond her professional achievements, Emily is a mother of two young boys and has been a part of the San Francisco community for two decades.
Her educational background includes a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Women's Studies from Georgetown University, and international studies at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.
