Emily Gasner is a dedicated professional with a passion for entrepreneurship and creating equitable financial products and mission-based lending to address systemic issues like racial, income, and wealth inequality.

With over 20 years as a leader in the CDFI industry, Emily has focused on enhancing the impact of CDFI microlenders and small business lenders across the United States.

During her tenure at Working Solutions, an award-winning nonprofit CDFI in the San Francisco Bay Area, Emily oversaw social impact and investing strategies that resulted in millions of dollars in investments made to entrepreneurs, providing economic opportunities and local jobs.

She excels in building partnerships, creating programs, securing investments, managing donor relations, and leading diverse teams while also monitoring financial trends and ensuring organizational financial health.

Emily's expertise has led to successful funding of microloans and grants, underwriting deals for SBA loans, and facilitating the growth and success of thousands of entrepreneurs, particularly low-income individuals, women, and entrepreneurs of color.

Beyond her professional achievements, Emily is a mother of two young boys and has been a part of the San Francisco community for two decades.

Her educational background includes a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, a Bachelor of Science in Spanish and Women's Studies from Georgetown University, and international studies at Universidad de Costa Rica UCR.

Emily's professional affiliations include roles at CAMEO, Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center, and various positions at Working Solutions CDFI, highlighting her extensive experience and commitment to community development.
