Emily Fang

Emily Fang, originally from San Francisco and currently based in Singapore, is a dedicated individual with a strong passion for fostering sustainable and dynamic tech communities. Recently, she embarked on her personal MBA journey in Asia.

As the Founder of Asian Female Nomads, a thriving global Facebook community with over 500 members, Emily is actively involved in creating a supportive space for like-minded individuals. Additionally, she shares her insights and experiences as The Fang Girl on YouTube.

Emily's educational background is diverse, having studied at West High School, National University Preparatory School For Overseas Chinese Students, Peking University, and San Francisco State University with focuses on Chinese Language And Literature, Chinese Language, Literature, Business, and International Business.

Throughout her career, Emily has held various key roles in renowned organizations, including serving as the Community Operations Strategist at Stripe, and as the Community & Content Lead at KrASIA. She also contributed her expertise as the Community & Developer Events Manager at OmniSci and as the Social & Community Specialist at Google. Her professional journey includes positions such as Partnerships Coordinator at Booking.com, Marketing And Public Relations Intern at TripIt from Concur, and Events Specialist at Career Fairs at San Francisco State University's Department of Counseling.
