Andrea Dal Mas

Andrea Dal Mas is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at Antalpha Prime and the Managing Partner at Antalpha Ventures, a blockchain-focused investment firm associated with Bitmain. He has been in the CIO role since April 2024 and has been with Antalpha Ventures since March 2022. His responsibilities include connecting the company with early-stage international Web3 startups and providing value-added services to portfolio companies, such as trading and asset management.1

Before joining Antalpha, Andrea was part of the founding team at Carbonbase, a fintech platform that promotes sustainable investments through blockchain technology. He also led the blockchain research team at Cocos-BCX, a public blockchain platform for game development. Andrea is recognized as an early adopter of blockchain technology, having co-founded Blockchain at Peking University and made several angel investments in cryptocurrencies.1

In addition to his roles in the private sector, he is a Global Shaper with the World Economic Forum, contributing to community initiatives aimed at fostering positive change.1 His educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Energy & Power Engineering from Peking University and various international projects related to materials science.1
