    Ella Marder is a seasoned professional specializing in transatlantic cultural programming, with a strong focus on creation, development, production, and marketing. Her expertise spans working with various organizations and artists in the US and Europe.

    Starting her career as an art reporter in Paris, Ella transitioned into independent cultural production, particularly in the fields of performing and visual arts, collaborating with prominent entities like IMEC, Cultural House Amiens, and Bel Air International Classical Music Festival.

    Over the past 15 years, Ella has established herself as a curator and creative strategy consultant, excelling in multidisciplinary conference series curation, festival organization, and creating cultural programming and partnerships for institutions, projects, and artists across different practices in Europe and the U.S.

    She honed her skills during her tenure as the right hand to the Cultural Attaché of the French Embassy’s Visual and Performing Arts department in New York, specializing in fostering artistic exchange between France and the US. Ella's pivotal role extended to being the Program & Managing Director for Pioneer Works, Center for Art and Innovation, where she played a key role in shaping exhibitions, outreach, education, and residency programs.

    From 2016 to 2019, Ella served as the Director of Cultural Programming at NeueHouse, a collective workspace in NY and LA. Her current role sees her as an ambassador-at-large for the organization.

    In 2019, Ella took on the role of Programming Director at Les Napoleons, a prestigious bi-annual conference series based in Paris with events in Arles and Val d'Isère. She also joined the Romanian UNFINISHED conference as a guest curator the same year.

    Ella Marder, a French-American, is a cultural nomad currently based in Paris with her family but frequently travels to New York. She holds a Master of Arts degree from Université Paris Diderot, with a diverse academic background in Modern Literature, Art History, Cinema Studies, Liberal Arts, all completed with honors.

    With a rich professional background that includes roles at esteemed organizations like Station to Station Projects, Eidos Foundation, and My Little Paris, Ella Marder continues to leave a significant impact on the cultural landscape through her innovative and strategic contributions.
