Eliza Gilmore

Eliza Gilmore is an accomplished professional with a strong educational background in Library & Information Science, Archives Management, English, and American Literature. She holds a Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) from Simmons University, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English and American Literature from Middlebury College, and has also studied at Universit de Poitiers, and Friends School of Baltimore.

Eliza has a diverse work history, having served as a Reference Librarian at Portsmouth Public Library in NH, Archives Assistant at Northeastern University, and Digital Collections Intern at American Archive of Public Broadcasting at WGBH. She has also gained experience as an Archives Reference Intern at John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, Archival Processing Intern at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Marketing Coordinator at PRH Speakers Bureau at Penguin Random House.

Apart from her library and archival roles, Eliza has worked in publishing, serving as Sales Marketing Assistant at Random House Group, Publishing Intern at Melville House, and Editorial Intern at U.S. Department of Education. Her teaching experience includes roles as English Teaching Assistant at Teaching Assistant Program in France USA, Assistant Teacher at Aim High/Crossroads at Marin Academy, and Peer Writing Tutor at Middlebury College.
