Elissa Shevinsky

Elissa Shevinsky is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CoinTelegraph, with a passion for DevOps, Security, and enjoying the birds in her yard. She holds a Master's degree in Entrepreneurship from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory from Williams College.

Elissa's education also includes a Certification in Journalism and Media Studies with a focus on Media and Technology from Cornell University, as well as her high school studies at Benjamin Cardozo High School.

Her professional journey includes various roles such as a Fractional CTO at Paragon Tech, Chief Product and Technical Officer at a Large Financial Media Publication, and CTO and Chief Product Officer at Faster Than Light. Elissa has also served as the (Interim) Head of Communications at VideoCoin and engaged in Public Speaking on CyberSecurity, Privacy, and Public Policy topics during her College Tour as a self-employed individual.

Elissa's diverse experience encompasses leadership positions like Head of Product at Brave Software, Founder & Organizer of SecretCon, and Advisor to Rand Paul for President as part of Rand Paul's Technical Advisory Council. She has been involved in ventures ranging from co-founding privacy and technology companies to contributing as an Editor and Consultant in various capacities.

Prior to her current role at CoinTelegraph, Elissa Shevinsky has been part of startups, media organizations, and technology companies, showcasing a rich tapestry of experience across different domains.
