Elgene Lim

Dr. Elgene Lim is a highly accomplished medical professional with extensive experience and a strong educational background. He studied FRACP in Medical Oncology at the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and obtained his MBBS in Medicine from Melbourne University, along with a PhD in Molecular Biology from the same institution. Prior to this, Dr. Lim completed his VCE at Trinity Grammar and his O levels at Raffles Institution.

Throughout his career, Dr. Lim held several distinguished positions in reputable organizations. He served as a Professor of Medicine at UNSW, Laboratory Head at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, and Senior Staff Oncologist at St. Vincent's Health Network Sydney. Additionally, he has been an Associate Professor of Medicine at UNSW, an Associate Professor at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Research Institute, and a Medical Oncologist at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre.

Dr. Lim's professional journey also includes roles such as an Instructor in Medicine at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the same institute, and a Breast Oncologist at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He has further contributed to the medical field as a Medical Oncology Fellow at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and an Internal Medicine Registrar at the same hospital.
