Eleni Gkeli is a highly experienced and skilled Engineering Geologist with over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering industry, specializing in large infrastructure projects in the transportation, water, and building sectors. She has extensive knowledge of engineering geological input for Tunnels, Highways, Earthworks, and Bridge designs. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Geology from the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, and her Masters of Science degrees in Tunnel Design and Construction from the National Technical University of Athens and Rock Mechanics and Foundation design from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Previously, Eleni worked as a Service Line Leader of Engineering Geology at WSP in New Zealand, as a Team Leader of Engineering Geology and Rock Engineering at Opus International Consultants Limited, and as an Engineering Geologist at Coffey International Ltd, among others. She is currently employed as a Principal Engineering Geologist - Technical Specialist Rock Engineering at Stantec.
