Elena O'Curry
User Experience Research Leadership
Elena O'Curry is a User Experience (UX) Research Manager II at Google, where she has been leading a team of researchers since October 2022. Her focus is on enhancing Google's developer tooling to ensure it meets high standards of usability and effectiveness. Prior to her current role, she served as a Senior UX Researcher at Google from August 2020 to October 2022.
Elena has a robust background in UX research and product strategy, having previously worked at Uber as a Senior User Researcher II / Manager II, where she managed research initiatives related to safety, privacy, and accessibility. Her experience also includes roles as Head of Product Insights at eero and Director of User Research at AltSchool, where she led teams to innovate and improve user experiences.
She holds a degree from the Institute of Design and is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, specifically Oakland, California.1
