Eileen Malia Yoshina
Director, Equity in Education Puget Sound ESD
Eileen Yoshina is an experienced educator and advocate for equity in education. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Northwestern University, a Master of Education in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, and a Native Education Certificate Program from the University of Washington. She has served as a teacher and adjunct faculty member in multiple institutions, including South Puget Sound Community College and McKenny Elementary School. As Director of Equity in Education at Puget Sound ESD, she focuses on promoting the work of educators of color towards transforming the educational system into one that supports the success of all students. Yoshina's expertise in diversity and equity has been honed through her role as Director of Diversity and Equity at South Puget Sound Community College and as the Executive Director of Village to Village. Her dedication to inclusivity has made her an asset to the educational community.
