Edzer Huitema

Edzer Huitema is an experienced executive with a hands-on mentality, a commercial focus, and a strong international network. He is passionate about creating and advancing big new technology ideas, with extensive experience working with multiple ODMs and display manufacturers in Asia.

His expertise lies in display technology, printed electronics, and product development, holding 161 US Patent applications (63 granted) in the areas of displays, mobile devices, and wearables. Edzer Huitema possesses both a US Green Card and an EU Passport.

Education-wise, Edzer studied VWO at van Lingen College, obtained a PhD in Physical Chemistry from Universiteit Utrecht, a Master's in Chemistry from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, and studied Computer Science at Radboud University Nijmegen.

Professionally, he has held key roles such as Chief Technology Officer at E Ink Corporation, Senior Manager Hardware Engineering at Apple, Chief Technology Officer at Polyera Corporation, Commercial Director at Solliance, Chief Technology Officer at Polymer Vision, and various positions at Philips.
