I work along with the product team to deliver meaningful product iterations.

I provide solution designs to support the company's initiative. These solutions take into consideration:

We managed the infrastructure as code using Terraform and automation with Salt. 
Our solution is AWS base using their platform to support and scale our infrastructure.

I Manage a team of Senior, Intermediate and QA Engineers. I handle 1:1 meetings and performance & growth management.

Senior Software Engineering Manager

Law of the Jungle is a legal technology company that makes complex commercial law easy for non-legal professionals. Our vision is to put the law to work for the business on a global scale.

I lead the advance in technology that is supporting the next huge cycle of growth in the company. 

We phased out the old dated technology introducing the most modern standards within the existing product.
Existing technology was based on plain jsp and servlets, java 6 and tomcat 5. 

We have transitioned to Spring Frameworks, Hibernate over Java 8 and Tomcat 8.

The technology roadmap also included moving from a monolithic war application file to containerised (Docker) microservices. From physical servers to AWS Cloud solutions.

I am responsible to select and hire outsource development companies for various projects, like BI and mobile solutions. In 8 months, I managed to reduce IT infrastructure cost in 15% while keeping the same quality and up time.
I organized the building and deployment processes and implemented continuous integration. We are now able to release new features on a daily basis, deploying it partially to a sub set of the users until it is validated and approved.
Before implementing these solutions there was no dependency management and the building process was a custom code. Now we use Maven and Jenkins.
The software versioning and revision control system used a confusing set of technology, it is now on GitHub and code review is now being done with the use of pull request.

I was hired to build up a team for the company's new product: Horus.
I was responsible for select the technology that could fulfill the requirements of the project, 
recruiting, hiring and training the team.
The set of technology selected were: MS SQL Server as database server, C# for the backend JSON REST API and Angular.js for the front end.
The code was managed with SVN source control and tasks with Trello
The system was wrapped with PhoneGap to create the mobile app.

Kick SIM provided an affordable way to users traveling overseas to keep their original mobile number(domestic number) while using a foreigner simcard/number (destination number).
It leverages from the Twilio Phone platform to provide a local number where the users' domestic number would be routed to and integrated with a proprietary solution over Asterisk to forward that call to the destination number.

Louve.TV is the most innovative site for Gospel music. It’s the only media source that has access to all major labels together providing its content in a young and vibrate way.
In order to allow the user to keep eyes on the TV show without interruptions the web site was developed using AJAX technology.
The backend uses PHP, Amazon AWS cloud (RDS, EC2), real time communication and MySQL.

ads and 70 million overall from over 500 web sites with real estate and vehicles offers.
Fisgo is a Java based web application. It runs over Amazon AWS solutions: RDS
(MySQL), EC2, Elastic Load balancer. It uses sphinx as search engine.

BemDireto is the leading Brazilian marketplace for Real Estate agents, providing the best
set of professional tools such as CRM, portfolio showcase, public profile, web site and email
with custom domain and Lead Acquisition of homebuyers that match their listings. It is the
most complete marketplace in the Real Estate market.

We use innovative technologies allowing the websites to perform and deliver accurate results
for customers and real estate agents.
BemDireto is a Groovy/Grails based web application. It runs over Amazon AWS:
RDS (MySQL), EC2, Elastic Load balancer, Route 53. It is integrated with
Google’s product through API: Analytics, URL Shortener
Our mobile application is a web app with HTML 5, CSS3, JQuery, Backbone,
RequireJs and Bootstrap over RESTful JSON webservices wrapped with
PhoneGap.
The project is developed with scrum Agile Environment managed with Atlassian
Agile. We use TDD with Jenkins as a continuous integration
The project subscription is charge through MOIP payment gateway.
The company received US$2.5 million in funding in two investment rounds.
Last year Fisgo was selected one of the top 10 startups from the most prestigious financial

As an IT manager, I coordinated a team of 20 developers, one network administrator and
one quality assurance supervisor. The development followed the agile method - XP (Extreme
Programming). This initiative was presented as a lead initiative in a renowned Brazilian
symposium of Java and software development.
As a software developer, I fixed performance issues, which were holding the company from
growing faster on the market. I applied design patterns that increased reliability and
scalability of the product. Later, when the company decided to move the entire IT department
to Brazil, I worked for 2 months in the company’s headquarter in Orlando/FL for the
knowledge transference.
The solutions where implemented using JAVA, JSP, Struts, DB2 and Oracle.

I structured the outsourcing solution that operated successfully with WTH, building up the facility that allowed an excellent integration of the Brazilian team members with their overseas` peers. The offices were integrated using VOIP, whiteboard sharing and video conference providing a productive environment for the development team.

Trigger was the main IT Solution provider for Fundação Roberto Marinho an important online education projects: Multicurso Matemática(phase 2 and 3) and Olá, Turista!

Trigger was an important partner of BananaByte, a company specialized in e-learning content, developing solutions for companies like: Souza Cruz (British American Tobacco), Contax and ONS.

All the solutions were developed using the best solution for each case.
