Provided end-to-end risk management advisory and execution support to corporate and sovereign clients across the Americas. As Associate, assumed P&L responsibility and worked towards building the GS Commodities franchise across relevant sectors.

High-level description of role highlights:
- Reviewed strategies to enable clients to manage commodity price volatility
- Executed hedge transactions with focus on OTC (financial) derivatives
- Provided dedicated and pointed commodity market analysis to clients
- Appointed to lead the GS Americas Carbon Derivatives franchise 
- Built the Central American and Caribbean Commodities business
- Selected by Partner Group to manage the Global Analyst training progamme, mentoring over 60 new global hires y.o.y.

On a daily basis, managed dealflow with +125 sovereign and corporate counterparties during period of all-time high commodity prices and unprecedented volatility. Worked closely with clients developing partnerships with Senior Executives of corporations and with Government Officials and Ministers.  And coordinated across with senior members of Credit, Investment Banking, Project Finance teams of Goldman Sachs to deliver holistic strategic advisory to clients to accelerate growth, improve financing or secure budget levels.

Member of leading Pan-European Shares team in the US [as per McLaggan] and key core desk of International Shares division at Goldman Sachs. Provided investment analysis, secondary equity stock analysis, and investment solutions to leading long-only and fast money institutions across the US. Within seven months, assumed primary coverage of fast-money institutions (mainly hedge funds) and provided support to management at time of  significant headcount changes.

Led the Corporate Access Americas franchise contributing ~40% of business P&L: executed 107 deal and non-deal road shows, improved capital allocation, grew market share by 40%.
