Edgar Chiu is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of SparkLabs Taiwan, a startup accelerator focused on helping Taiwanese entrepreneurs go global.13 He leads the Taiwan operations of the global accelerator network SparkLabs, which has invested in and supported more than 50 startups.1
Chiu has extensive experience in running startups and mobile app businesses. He was previously the founding COO of Gogolook, where he developed global partnerships for the caller ID service app Whoscall.3 Gogolook was later acquired by Naver in 2013.3
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Chiu worked as a consultant in IBM's Strategy and Transformation Practice, where he received the IBM Value Role Model Award in 2011.2 He also had roles at Hewlett-Packard and TSMC.5
In addition to his work at SparkLabs Taiwan, Chiu is a co-founder of the Jumpstart Program, which has cultivated over 90 entrepreneurial leaders for organizations.2 He also serves as a mentor and lecturer for the EMBA program at National Taiwan University.4
Chiu holds a bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.2
