Joined the company as pre-sales specialist and was soon promoted to lead a team of Solutions Consultants and engineers who were involved in Pre-Sales/Sales, Research and Business Development, implementation and Project Management of LAN/WAN , WAN Optimisation, Application Delivery, Voice and GSM Solutions (IP and TDM Based) and Security Solutions in the Business Solutions department of the company. 

My responsibilities also included vendor relationship and product management of a wide array of networking, telecommunications and security solutions.

Key Achievements:
1. Contributed in the growth the yearly revenue from a Rs5 millions to Rs100 millions in 4 years
2. Joined the company in a team of 3 people in 2007 and was managing a team of 25 after 4 years
3. Introduced Telecommunications, Cabling, Application Delivery and various other solutions to the portfolio.

EDS Ltd is one of the leading integrators in Networking, Telecommunications and Security field with a strong footprint in the hospitality, banking and financial, government and large enterprises market in Mauritius. EDS is a Cisco Premier Partner, Alcatel Lucent Partner, Nomadix Advanced Partner and Proxim Wireless Solutions amongst others.

My main focus was in Pre-sales and solutions design of LAN/WAN (Structured Cabling Systems, Routing and Switching), Network Security, Broadband Solutions, Video on Demand/IPTV Solutions, IP Surveillance Systems and Voice Solutions (Unified Communications). My duties also consisted of business development and research and development of new technologies and products.

Responsible of IT and Communications Department my duties included managing the operations of the department and leading a team of 6 Engineers (Software, Hardware and Networks). I joined the company at the pre-implementation stage of the IT Infrastructure and was therefore also involved in the system design, vendor selection and implementation various hardware and applications and systems such as Newswrap Editorial System, Microsoft Server 2003, PaBX system, Pre-Press and Press systems.

Part of my duties also included pre-sales and design of cabling, networking and turnkey solutions comprising of Servers, applications and IT Security Systems.
