As a Community Services Administrator at Seattle Housing Authority, Rachael's leadership of strategic partnerships provides opportunities to leverage relationships and resources towards shared goals. She has found tremendous success in leveraging relationships and resources to help all stakeholders achieve their goals. Rachael's background is impressive, studying Certificate, Executive Leadership at Seattle University, MPA, Non-Profit and Community Development at Kentucky State University, and BS, Biology, Chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana – all providing a rich foundation for Rachael's work.

Her passion for community service and engagement started at Tulane University, where she was Senior Program Coordinator- Office of Service Learning. She later served as Interim Coordinator Multicultural Affairs at Eastern Oregon University, and as Program Director at Kentucky State University, before starting Steward and Associates LLC. Her work with Seattle University has continued to demonstrate her commitment to education and service, with the Seattle University Youth Initiative making significant gains in supporting low-income children living in the neighborhoods nearest the urban campus. Her partnerships with Seattle Public Schools, Yesler Community Collaborative, Catholic Community Services, and College Success Foundation are informed by close relationships with children and families in greatest need of systemic and individual support and advocacy.
