James Donelan is a highly accomplished engineering and product leader with a track record of success at hyper-growth companies. With extensive experience building high-performing teams and market-defining enterprise products, James has held several leadership positions at both early-stage startups and established companies. He is well-known for his deep expertise in building developer and cybersecurity products leveraging distributed cloud infrastructure, large scale data and analytics, machine learning, and open source technologies.

James studied Applied Mathematics & Computing with Honors at the University of Limerick and has additional certifications from SUN Microsystems and Microsoft. Over the years, he has worked for several Fortune 500 companies and held various roles, including Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect at Epiphany, Vice President of Engineering at MuleSoft, and Vice President of Products at Netskope.

He has also founded a startup, Trace Data, which was acquired by Netskope. In addition to his professional work, James has served as a Limited Partner at Tribe Capital and an investor in various startups.
