April Putney is a seasoned political professional with a strong background in government relations, policy advocacy, and community organizing. She studied at Syracuse University's esteemed Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, honing her skills in public administration and policy analysis.

Putney has held a variety of roles in both the public and non-profit sectors, working to advance progressive policies and improve quality of life for constituents. She currently serves as the Director of Government Relations at the Office of King County Executive, where she oversees outreach and engagement with local, state, and federal elected officials. Prior to this role, she served as the Director of State & Federal Relations at the same office, as well as Legislative Relations Manager.

In addition to her work in government, Putney has been deeply involved with advocacy organizations and grassroots campaigns. She has served as Campaign Manager for Move King County Now, an initiative to improve transportation infrastructure, and as Director of Policy & Advocacy at Futurewise, an environmental non-profit. She has also worked as a Field Organizer for Citizens for Community Protection and NJPIRG's NJ Community Water Watch.
