Barton Lorimor is a seasoned public administrator, news reporter, and public affairs strategist who specializes in campaign management and state government. Currently, he serves as the Sponsorships Manager at the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) and is passionate about creating connections and supporting better legal practices in Illinois. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Political Science from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
Before joining IICLE, Barton founded Full Stack Strategies, where he offered consulting services in public affairs strategies and content writing. He also worked as a Reimbursement Liaison at the Health Care Council of Illinois and a Campaign Manager for Jack Campbell for Sheriff. Moreover, Barton spent years serving the State of Illinois and held several key positions, including Policy Advisor to the Director, Department of Employment Security; Director of Strategic Initiatives, Office of Comptroller; and Policy Analyst, Office of Comptroller.
