Drew Neavin is a dedicated and driven researcher with a focus on enhancing the understanding of patient response variation to medication through biological measures like genomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and microbiome.
With a robust educational background, Drew Neavin holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics from Mayo Graduate School. Additionally, Drew completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Spanish Language and Literature, a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Population and Molecular Genetics, and a minor in Mathematics at Colorado State University. Drew also pursued studies in Spanish Language and Literature at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso.
Throughout his career, Drew Neavin has held various roles in prestigious organizations. Currently, he serves as a Research Officer at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research. Previously, he worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic, where he also completed his Graduate Student tenure. He has also been involved in roles like Research Trainee focusing on Pharmacometaboliomics-informed Pharmacogenomics at Mayo Clinic. Earlier in his career, he gained experience as an Undergraduate Researcher in areas like Zebrafish Heart Morphology and Genetics at Colorado State University, as well as a Research Assistant in Immunology at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and a Research Intern at Colorado State University.
