D.M. Dr. Sofi Loomis

Dr. Sofi Loomis is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse educational background and extensive experience in the field of engineering, planning, and project management.

Dr. Loomis holds a Doctor of Management degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, a Master of Science in Urban Planning from the University of Arizona, a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a Minor in French from the United States Naval Academy, and she studied ET, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at the US Navy Electronic School.

Currently, Dr. Sofi Loomis serves as the Senior Director of Engagement & Outreach at the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association & Foundation, where she oversees various strategic initiatives.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Loomis has held several key positions at the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), including Business Agreements Manager, Senior Project Manager, Community Planner, Real Estate Project Manager, Facilities Planner, Realty Specialist, and Contract Manager, showcasing her versatility and depth of expertise in the field.
