Dr Simmy Grover
UCL Organisational Psychologist (Academic/Practitioner)
Dr. Simmy Grover is an accomplished organisational psychologist affiliated with University College London (UCL), where she serves as both an academic and practitioner. She holds a PhD in Organisational Psychology from UCL, completed under the supervision of Professor Adrian Furnham. Her research interests focus on individual differences, interpersonal relationships, and workplace well-being, particularly the efficacy of interventions aimed at improving employee health and reducing burnout.13
In her role at UCL, Dr. Grover lectures in organisational and consulting psychology and is the admissions tutor for the undergraduate psychology programs. She is also involved in initiatives aimed at addressing the BAME awarding gap within the Brain Sciences Faculty.13 Additionally, she has experience as a coach, working with senior leaders to enhance their effectiveness and facilitate career transitions. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Grover worked in financial services, including as an equity trader at Morgan Stanley. She has also held roles in consultancy and was recognized as one of Financial News' "40 Under 40 Rising Stars of Trading and Technology" in 2011.1 Dr. Grover's extensive background combines both practical and theoretical aspects of psychology, making her a prominent figure in her field.
