Emily McBride
Health Psychologist (HCPC Registered) & Behavioural Scientist
Dr. Emily McBride holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Health Psychology / Behavioural Science from UCL. She also completed a Stage 2 Qualification in Health Psychology from the British Psychological Society, a BSc(Hons) in Psychology from the University of Glasgow, and an MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Stirling.
With a diverse professional background, Dr. McBride has served as a Health Psychologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. Previously, she held positions such as Senior Research Fellow at UCL, Policy Lead at The British Psychological Society, NIHR Fellowship (Health Psychologist) at UCL, Exchange Scholar at Yale University, Visiting Researcher at McGill University, Senior Advisor (Behavioural Scientist) at the UK Department of Health, Research Psychologist at UCL, and has also been involved in teaching roles at The University of Edinburgh and University of Stirling.
She has also contributed to the field in various capacities, such as being a Postgraduate representative for DHP-Scotland at The British Psychological Society, a Trainee Health Psychologist at NHS, a Telephone befriender with a focus on psychological intervention delivery at NHS, and a Counselor at Summit.
