Casey Gerald is a well-educated and accomplished writer, strategist, and former CEO. He attended Yale University for a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, and later received an MBA from Harvard Business School. He has experience in both the private and non-profit sectors, having worked at Neiman Marcus Group, Lehman Brothers Holdings, and Center for American Progress. Additionally, he was a Senior Fellow at Humanity in Action and the Director of Strategy at Reboot. Gerald is also the co-founder of MBAs Across America, a non-profit that aimed to bring business skills to overlooked communities.
As a writer, Gerald has published essays and articles in a variety of publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and Harvard Business Review. He has also authored two books: "There Will Be No Miracles Here" and "The Memo: What Women of Color Need to Know to Secure a Seat at the Table". Gerald's interests include economic policy, government innovation, and social justice.
