Background and Experience

Dr. Thiel has a strong background in decarbonization efforts, having worked in the mobility and renewable energy sectors before focusing on industrial energy storage. His previous roles include positions at Senvion, McKinsey & Company, UBS Investment Bank, and BMW Group. He holds a PhD in Marketing and a master's degree in Business Administration. Additionally, he completed military service and participated in NATO's peacekeeping mission in the former Yugoslavia.13
