Douglas Slain

Private Placement Advisors LLC's JOBS Act Maven, Douglas Slain, works primarily with small businesses, offering his expertise in finding appropriate and accredited investors using Regulation D and Regulation S. Before the JOBS Act went into effect, he designed and executed pre-JOBS Act private placements for decades. Douglas has made outstanding contributions to the field of professional responsibility as the chair of the ABA's largest committee. He has also served as a secured transactions advisor to the Ministry of Economy for the Republic of Latvia. As Social Thought Committee, Douglas earned a Master of Arts degree in Intellectual History from the University of Chicago. He also studied Law at Stanford University Law School, where he obtained his JD. Douglas uses his expertise to identify suitable investors and enable small businesses to raise the capital they require.
