Douglas Coughran
Douglas Coughran is the founder of Foxtrot Systems and a mechanical engineer who studied at the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He began his career as a crew member on a family sailing boat and interned for various organizations, including Meg Whitman for Governor 2010, Landa Arquitectos, and CEMEX. Later, he worked as a TEC intern at Bain & Company and an intern to the Senior Managing Director of Energy at Evercore Partners. Douglas is a former Nominations Board member and Undergraduate Researcher at MIT, as well as a former Committee Member of MIT Initiative on Innovation and MIT Committee on Curricula.
With a deep interest in entrepreneurship, Douglas co-founded Foxtrot Systems, a startup focused on building machine learning and AI systems for the logistics industry. He is a former business development professional at DIYDEV and TEC intern at Bain & Company. Away from work, Douglas enjoys sailing, and he is a former crew member on a family sailing boat "Volador."
