Continuing his education at the University of Missouri - Kansas City, Dority further specialized by earning a Master of Business Administration, enhancing his skills in strategic decision-making and leadership.

With an impressive career spanning various roles, Dority currently serves as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Evergy, where he brings valuable expertise in regulatory compliance and governance.

His previous roles include District Manager, Superintendent of Field Operations, Interim Director of Government Affairs, and Manager of Economic Development at Kansas City Power & Light, showcasing his versatility and leadership capabilities in the utilities sector.

Prior to his tenure at Kansas City Power & Light, Dority held significant positions at the State of Missouri Department of Economic Development, where he contributed as the Coordinator of the Office of Science and Technology and the International Project Manager in the Office of International Marketing.
