Donald Baldwin

Donald E. Baldwin is a seasoned aviation professional with over 30 years of experience in both general and business aviation.

Having served as the long-time Texaco flight department manager, Baldwin established innovative approaches to optimize services across satellite flight operations, focusing on smaller flight departments' needs and constraints.

Baldwin's leadership extends to his role as Chairman of the National Business Aviation Association, where he played a critical role as acting president and CEO during a leadership transition.

Prior to his tenure at NBAA, Donald Baldwin held the position of Director of Corporate Aviation at Coca-Cola, overseeing the development of corporate aviation policies, standard operating procedures, and organizational enhancements.

During his 27-year career at Texaco, Baldwin progressed from copilot to aviation manager, leading global aviation operations across 25 countries.

Donald Baldwin's contributions to the aviation industry have been recognized through prestigious awards, including the Visionary Award from Business & Commercial Aviation magazine and the 'Top Gun' award for his innovative aviation business strategies.

Baldwin's commitment to safety is evident in his over 9,000 hours of accident-free flying and various Safety Awards earned throughout his career.

Additionally, his quick actions in aiding a pilot and passengers after an aircraft accident led to his inclusion on the Texaco Life Saver Honor Roll.

Passionate about professional education in corporate aviation, Baldwin founded the NorthEast Corporate Aviation Assn. and directed the organization for a decade before its integration into NBAA.

Donald Baldwin hails from New Jersey and holds a B.A. in aviation management from Wilmington College, Delaware.
