Brent Smith is a seasoned professional in the aviation industry with a lifelong passion for flying. His journey in aviation started at the age of 4 with a seaplane flight over Lake Taupo, instilling in him a deep love for flying.

With over 30 years of experience in aviation, Brent has traveled extensively, gained diverse experiences, and built a strong network across different cultures. This exposure led him to establish two innovative businesses aimed at revolutionizing the regional aviation sector.

Recognizing the social and economic benefits that regional aviation offers to communities, Brent is a staunch advocate for its importance in society and advocates for its continuous evolution.

Brent's educational background includes studying Commercial Pilot's License in Aeronautics/Aviation/Aerospace Science and Technology at General Flying Services & Oxford Aviation Academy. He also studied Mathematics, Physics, English, and Business Management during his high school years at St Kevin's College.

Throughout his career, Brent has held key roles in various organizations, including being the Co-Founder of Altsel Aviation. He has also served as a Captain at Flybe, Line Pilot at Aerodata International Surveys, Line Pilot at GAM Group, Senior Base Pilot & Line Training Captain at West Wing Aviation, and Base Manager & Line Pilot at Ayers Rock Scenic Flights.
