Dr. Dominik Domnik
Dr. Dominik Battiste Domnik is the current co-lead and managing director of the LMU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center in Munich, Germany.1 He studied Business and Economics at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in Switzerland and received his PhD from St. Gallen and the Stockholm School of Economics.1
Prior to joining LMU IEC, Dominik co-founded the Zurich-based Social Entrepreneurship Initiative & Foundation (seif), a capacity building organization for social ventures.1 He was also the executive director of the Social Entrepreneurship Akademie (SEA), a joint initiative by the four university-based entrepreneurship centers in Munich.1
Dominik has served on numerous juries and boards of entrepreneurship competitions or research committees and is a senior lecturer for social finance, organizational behavior, and sustainable entrepreneurship.1 He has published several articles on topics such as the potential of futures literacy for impact-oriented business schools, Munich as a growing hotspot for innovation and entrepreneurship, and successful social impact collaborations.1
