Dominic Frongillo

Dominic Frongillo is an elected official, organizer, and changemaker known for his work in addressing the climate emergency, civic movements, and sustainable development.

He holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in an Individual Curriculum focusing on Community Development and Development Policy from Cornell University.

In his educational journey, Dominic also studied at the University of Rochester.

Dominic Frongillo has been actively involved in various organizations, holding key positions that have contributed to his professional growth and impact.

He is the Co-Founder & Executive Director at Elected Officials to Protect America.

Previously, Dominic was a Roddenberry Fellow at The Roddenberry Foundation and played a significant role as the Co-Founder and Director at Elected Officials to Protect New York.

His experience also extends to the role of International Sustainability Development Manager at THOMAS DAILY GmbH.

Additionally, Dominic Frongillo has served as the Coordinator for CALS Green at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County and as the Energy $mart Communities Coordinator at NYSERDA.

His commitment to environmental causes is evident through his involvement as a Presenter at The Climate Reality Project and as a Community Energy Educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County.

Dominic has a strong background in local governance, having served as a Councilmember and Deputy Town Supervisor in the Town of Caroline, New York.

His academic and research skills were honed during his roles as a Research Assistant in the Program in International Nutrition and the Department of Design & Environmental Analysis at Cornell University.

Furthermore, Dominic Frongillo has experience in planning and project coordination, having worked as a Planning Project Assistant at Tompkins County Planning Department.
