Founded in 1993, Making The Leap is a London-based charity that improves social mobility by raising the aspirations of, and increasing opportunities for, young people between the ages of 11 and 25. It believe every young person should have the chance to fulfil their potential. Its mission is to transform the futures of young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds by providing training to raise their aspirations and develop their skills, behaviours and confidence to succeed in a career. In 2021 it directly supported 11,915 young people from across 27 London Boroughs.

The mission is to transform the futures of disadvantaged young people in the UK by providing training to raise their aspirations and develop their skills, confidence and outlook to choose and succeed in a career. We work directly with young people in London, and we use what we learn in our delivery to raise awareness of the importance of social mobility among UK businesses and organisations and encourage them to take action to improve it.

AMI is the primary trade body representing UK mortgage intermediaries. As part of the board, I work within a team to maintain a positive and ethical business environment for members by working with politicians, regulators and other industry bodies, and to promote the provision of good advice as an essential part of a healthy market for mortgages, which operates in the interests of consumers.

Alexander Hall is a central London based mortgage and protection advisory company. The company is a subsidiary of the Foxtons Group plc.

I was responsible for managing all areas of a directly authorized regulated business, with 8 direct reports covering Sales, Lender relationships, Risk and Compliance, Accounts, Support Services, Third Party relationships, and Training.

Member of the Alexander Hall Board and hold SMF1 (Senior Management 1, Chief Executive Function).

Member of Foxtons Group’s Executive Leadership Team, developing and implementing Group strategy, policies, procedures & financial plans, monitoring performance, managing risk and allocating resources.

Provided strong leadership managing the sales process, revenue generation and performance as well as the lead booking process, business development, risk management, and talent acquisition.

A statutory member of the Alexander Hall Board which involved contributing towards and being accountable for the full range of the  company’s responsibilities.

Sales Director

Foxtons is London's largest estate agency and listed on the London Stock Exchange. I was responsible for  managing a sales floor of over 160 staff which generated circa 50,000 instructions per year and directly supervising the Central London Division comprising of six teams and circa 50 employees. 

Managing the day-to-day operations of the department including performance management, talent acquisition, risk management and business monitoring.

Participating in wider projects across the Foxtons business such as supporting the Foxtons landlord retention strategy, the design and implementation of technology projects, and the management of the appointment booking process for financial services lead opportunities.

Part of a HQ-based team supporting the front office network to create new leads and increase market share throughout key territories in London and Surrey, advising Vendors, Landlords and Applicants.

Involved in the sale of circa £300m worth of property and £35m of rental payments in a typical year.

Kids Can Achieve is a charity formed to support local children and young people with disabilities whose needs are not being recognised by the mainstream. The role involved managing weekly group sessions, as well as providing one on one support through planned activities.

Team Manager

Cambridge School caters for students with speech, language and communication needs, learning and cognition difficulties, and students with complex needs, including social, emotional and mental health issues. It is a diverse community where difference is embraced and where the values of tolerance, empathy and compassion are promoted and celebrated. My role involved me supporting teachers in classroom based environments, as well as providing one-to-one support for the most vulnerable children on a periodic basis.
