Dmitri Korneev
Executive Director of You Need Music EPE and "Olympic Challenge" Competition
Dmitri Korneev is a multifaceted musician and educator currently serving as the Executive Director of "You Need Music" Educational & Performing Enterprise.12 He is also the Collaborative Pianist and Coordinator at the John J. Cali School of Music at Montclair State University.1
Korneev holds a PhD in Composition from Mason Gross School of the Arts and a master's degree from both the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and Mannes College of Music.1 His academic background includes studies at the Central Music School at Moscow State Conservatory.1
As a performer, Korneev has given solo recitals throughout Russia, Greece, Italy, and the United States, including prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, and the United Nations Concert Hall in New York.1 He has won prizes at the Dunaevsky and Prokofiev Composition Competitions and was a finalist in an American Prize competition.1
