Dirk A. Cameron

Dirk A. Cameron is a seasoned international business development expert with over 20 years of cross-cultural experience in Latin America, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His extensive experience in international business development, sales, and partnership development has enabled him to assist many small to medium-sized enterprises in expanding their products and services into international markets. Cameron is the current Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Avanzar Ventures International (AVI), where he partners with SMEs in the US and connects them with funds and investor platforms interested in investing in entrepreneurs and their ventures in emerging and frontier markets.

With a strong educational background in business administration, Cameron holds an MBA in general studies from Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, a certificate in Spanish from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, and a BBA in accounting from Texas Tech University. Additionally, he has held senior positions such as the regional partner for Southern Europe and North Africa (SENA) at Agora Enterprises and the former Managing Director at AvanzarOak Ventures.

Cameron's specialties include international development, cross-cultural business development, operations, sales generation, recruiting, and deal structuring. He is also known to create community social impact projects for his clients in developing countries. Fluent in Spanish, he is always traveling in and out of Latin America, Africa, and Europe.
