Diego Almeida

Diego Almeida is a highly experienced industrial engineer with a specialization in productivity and quality systems. He has over 24 years of experience managing operations, engineering, production, quality, maintenance, finance, materials, HR, EHS and manufacturing for operations in Mexico. Almeida has over 22 years of experience in the automotive business, specifically in wire harness and molding operations. He has a strong background in implementing quality and engineering systems, including TS 16949, IATF, and the application of quality tools such as PFMEA, CP, PPAP documentation, APQP, 8 D’s, SMED, Poka Yokes, KANBAN, and OEM’s TS. Almeida excels in the development and implementation of effective process control systems, measurement systems, and quality metrics, with a proven track record of improvements and cost-saving projects. He has excellent leadership skills and experience interacting with top management within corporate and customers, such as President, CEO, VP’s, and Directors with executive reports to top management experience. He is bilingual in English and Spanish, with experience working with customers OEM’s such as Subaru, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, KIA, GM, Ford, and FCA. Almeida has experience with greenfield new plant launch-up and organization integrations.
