Diana Castro

Diana Diaz Castro is a Programme Supervisor at PSI within the United Nations Environment Programme's Finance Initiative. She holds a BS Hons in Civil Engineering and an MSc in Transport and City Planning from UCL. With 5 years of diverse professional experience, Diana has worked as a management consultant, transport and city planner, researcher, and project engineer in locations spanning the USA, the UK, Europe, and Latin America, collaborating with the public, private, and financial sectors.

Her academic background includes additional studies in areas like computational modelling, machine learning, deep learning, and neural networks at esteemed institutions such as Cornell University and MIT. Diana has pursued courses in Computer Science, Software Development, Investments, Finance, and Energy, Environment, and Sustainable Development. Her enthusiasm extends to artificial intelligence, data science, entrepreneurship, environmental and social impacts, finance, investing, and insurance.

Throughout her career, Diana has been involved with organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) as a Program Supervisor and previously as a Program Assistant. She has also gained experience as an Investment Banking Intern at Bright Network, Founder of Eco Friend Market, Assistant Consultant at Steer, City Planning at Transport for London, Founder and Director at Education Globe Group, Project Engineer at Consultants in Territorial Development (CONDETER SAS), and Researcher at Cornell University, among various other roles.
