Ramón Villasante Roa

Ramón Villasante Roa is a lifelong learner, social entrepreneur, and innovator with a passion for sustainable development, impact, and education. With over ten years of experience in technology, he has worked in a community of great people on innovative projects that make a positive impact on society. Ramón is currently the CTO & CPO of Educabily, a premier partner of Google for Education in Spain, where they develop EdTech for innovation and personalized lifelong learning. He works in product engineering, design, research, and management of Student Success, in addition to being a co-founder of PositiveSocialImpact, an EdTech app for sustainable development, innovation, and impact. He is also an ambassador at TeachSDGs, a member of the Global Initiative for Ethical Considerations in Artificial Intelligence & Autonomous Systems at IEEE and a guest lecturer & instructor at Universidad Pablo de Olavide.

Ramón Villasante Roa's educational background includes a Master's degree in Bioinformatics & Computational Biology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a PhD in Biology, Computational Sustainability from the Universidade de Évora, and a degree in Computer Science from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.

Ramón is passionate about innovation, human-centered design thinking, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, enterprise and consumer internet, business and entrepreneurship, and cost-effective innovative products that improve the lives of people and organizations. He thrives on products in learning engineering, education for sustainable development and economic, environmental and social impact like EdTech, CleanTech, BioTech, GovTech, CivicTech, UrbanTech, AgTech, FoodTech, FinTech, Smart Cities, Sustainable, Responsible, and Impact Investing, the SDGs, the education SDG 4, and the education for sustainable development goal SDG 4.7 & all the innovation that makes a positive impact on society.
