I lead a team of innovators at one of the largest community colleges in TX. We work across disciplines to bring new projects and programs to life in order to better serve our college and the DFW community.

Recruit, manage, and lead team of 8 project managers, subject matter experts and data analysts to execute high-level projects across 7 college campuses and 2+ satellite campuses, 120,000 students. Develop professional goals and collaborate on training and up-skilling staff in applicable areas of higher education, workforce, data analytics, and project management.

Manage Incubator portfolio of initiatives (10+) and new programs including launch of Airframe and Powerplant program, Emerging Technology Symposium, Formula Funding Data Dashboard, Early Student Alert Integrator, Invasive Cardio Tech partnership with HCA Healthcare, and management of data requests for Academic Services division (100+ hours of data analytics per semester)

Develop and manage several multi-million-dollar budgets across portfolio including institutional funds, grants (NSF, ISOW, THECB, Perkins, Bank of America), soliciting in-kind donations from industry (American Airlines, THECB, Hewlett Packard, Southwest Airlines, Texas Department of Transportation, Department of Defense, etc.) and managing procurement of equipment

Represent Incubator interests at executive functions including Dallas College Board of Trustee Meetings, Executive Work Sessions, Conferences incluing AACU 2023 and THECB Micro Credential Learning Network

Develop and manage high-level partnerships and mentorships with industry and education partners in Dallas County including the A&P advisory board (American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, Envoy, Bombardier, Dallas ISD, City of Dallas, Economic Development Corporations), THECB Microcredential Learning Network (Alamo Colleges, UNT Denton, Houston Community Colleges), Grow with Google, Jobs for the Future, Bank of America

Lead, design, and facilitate international virtual and face-to- face storytelling workshops for scientists, educators, tech specialists. 

Train and lead teams of educators and facilitators to develop and lead bespoke science storytelling and science communication workshops for diverse audiences

Cast, coach, host, and produce live storytelling shows with stories focused on human experience with science as part of an international show series and podcast (75% show production to podcast transition) in partnership with science, arts, and journalism stakeholders (Dallas Morning News, The Wild Detectives, Do214, UT Arlington Herpetology)

Develop and deliver bespoke science storytelling curriculum for research institution staff, students, and administrators (University of Illinois Urbana-Champagne Biomedical Sciences, New Zealand Science Media Center, Winyah Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve, Schoodic Institute, Blueprint Medical, Biology Leadership Community via Pearson, Blueprint Medicines, etc.)

Host and produce virtual storytelling shows via Zoom and Crowdcast, including bespoke story “slams” for workshops and time zones across the globe and produced themed “home shows”. Served as part-time technician for remote shows 2020-2021

Managed development of New Now Next Ethnographies of Work module for all SOCI 1301 students in partnership with School of Law and Public Service and Guttman College (~4,000 students impacted to date), 

Managed expansion of Google Career Certificates as embedded industry credentials across all 7 academic divisions (~1000 students impacted to date)

Managed curriculum, deliverables, and data analytics of student success in accordance with federal US Department of Education grant guidelines, deliverables, deadline, scope, and budget (Grant budget $5 million for 5-year project)

Hired, trained, and supervised several teams of student services professionals and educators in accordance with institution, grant, and program policy

Managed grant/ Coordinated NSF-funded conference and conference staff, 200+ participants including partnership with Texas Tech University, Texas A&M Chevron Engineering Academy, University of Texas Dallas, Alamo Colleges and more.

Served as Program Coordinator of P-Tech and B-Tech programs, liaison with Dallas ISD P-Tech and ECHS stakeholders, managing enrollment, student success, funding, and educational progress and reporting outcomes to stakeholders across Dallas ISD and Dallas College (personal portfolio of over 720 students)

Developed and delivered informal education programming for audiences of varying ages and experiences, focused on the animals in the collection.
Provided husbandry for over 50 species of animals, including diet preparation, medical care, grooming, and cleaning.
Developed and implemented training programs for over 10 animals for the purposes of husbandry and outreach.
