Dev Markandey is a professional with a diverse background in insurance, actuarial science, analytics, and reinsurance.

He holds a degree in Bachelor of Technology in Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.

He also pursued further education in Reinsurance at the American Institute for Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters in Pennsylvania.

With a wealth of experience, Dev has held various key positions in reputable organizations.

He notably served as the Regional Head of Property & Engineering- Development & Underwriting at AXA Gulf.

In the past, he held the position of Pricing Actuary (Head of Pricing) at Al Ahlia Insurance (RSA Oman) and Actuarial Manager- P&C at AXA.

Dev's career journey also includes roles such as Senior Analyst- Insurance at Fractal Analytics, Cofounder at Analytics Venture, and CAT Modeling Analyst at Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings Ltd.

Furthermore, he gained research experience through positions such as Research Intern at Institut für Höhere Studien (IHS), Vienna, and Summer Student Researcher at SJM School of Management, IIT Bombay.
