Dessa Shepherd

Dessa Shepherd is an accomplished NYSED Certified School Counselor, program manager, and learning and development leader with a diverse background in Education, EdTech, and Non-Profit sectors. She specializes in developing engaging STEM curricula for K-12 students and facilitating the professional growth of adult learners transitioning into software engineering roles. Dessa holds a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology from Chatham University, an Ed.M in Psychological Counseling from Teachers College of Columbia University, and a Master of Arts in Applied Psychology from New York University. She is the CEO & Founder of VisionVoice, Inc., and has held various managerial positions in organizations like NYC Department of Small Business Services, Pursuit, Christodora, and The Noel Pointer Foundation.
