Production Consulting Center Director

Main objective is to secure New Launches with production preparation activities and to lead and implement all improvement activities in order to achieve Company KPIs by leading and coaching 46 employees as 2 teams in 2 different manufacturing locations as well as providing an environment for them to improve their own skills and knowledge.
 
1- Production Preparation Activities:
Starting from PCS to New Launch; assure all the capacity in terms of manpower and machinery, guarantee all NYS and Lean Manufacturing requirements are implemented while coordinating all method activities and supporting design of simple tools and equipments as well as leading the Inline and Offline Training of employees for the New Launches.

2- Improvement Activities:
Leading improvement activities with Target Setting Activity in manufacturing and with Value Stream Mapping (Monojou) in administration by simply implementing NYS Tools (T79 key focus areas are Yamazumi, SWCS, Balancing Production/Heijunka, One Piece Flow, Moto and Capability KPI, SWCT for OEE incraese, etc.)
Assure implementation of possible, low cost and profit making Benchmark Kaizens from YC Kachi Items and from YC Benchmark Plants such as Annan, Kumamoto, Makinohara, etc and manage the contribution to YC TBU Profit Improvement Activity with an enlarged Kaizen Implementation System widened to whole plant organization from department leaders to direct and indirect employees.

Lean Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Manager

Main objective is to follow up production preparation activities of new projects of certain OEMs in several Yazaki Europe EDS plants (Bulgaria, Romania, Morocco, Turkey, etc.) and grasp the current situation with risks and opportunities to develop early countermeasures for providing a problem free Start of Production in parallel with Company's current KPIs and future plans.

Status reporting of YEL (Yazaki Europe Limited) Overall Projects within YEL Operations and to YC WHQ; 5Why & Rootcause Analysis and Lessons Learned development of YEL launches

YEL Mother Plant/Lead Plant Implementation follow up, current situation analysis and improvement activity planning

YPMS Steering Committee member (ME) and GPMS Working Group member to improve current Project Management System.

EME Production Preparation Manager

Managing 3 different areas for 2 EDS plants (YOTG and YWTT) for Japanese, European and US OEM business in Yazaki Turkey Operations and representing YOTG&YWTT in global matrix organizations for new projects.

1- CAE and Product Development:
Following up the requirement of CAE capability implementation in YEL Lead Plants; division is widened by 100% in terms of man and content of work; in addition to European OEM CAE capability, directed to implement US OEM CAE by directly managing a team of 15 people, 1 leader, 4 engineers, 11 technicians.

2- Product & Design Engineering:
Direct management of a team of 16 people ; 1 leader, 3 engineers, 12 technicians in order to assure;
- Correct Data Management in SAP
- 0 unimplemented ECI/ECO
- Proper conducted production preparation activities (VA/VE proposals, design proposals, design for manufacturing confirmation, wire tuning, etc.)

3- Project Management
Direct management of a team of 4 people; 1 leader, 3 engineers in order to assure all production preparation activities are completed by the plant matrix project team and lines are ready for mass production.
2 New Launches (Japanese & US business) and 4 Model Year Changes have been completed within the plant KPIs.

Project Launch and Production Preparation Manager

Managing all the processes of new project launch in 2 WH plants  for various OEMs (Japanese-European) starting from nomination to Mass Production Start-up, assuring that lean tools also being implemented starting from prototype phases until MP.

Direct management of a team of 4 people; 1 leader, 3 engineers in order to assure all production reparation activities are completed by the plant matrix project team and lines are ready for mass production.

4 New Launches (Japanese & US & European business) and 3 Model Year Changes have been completed within the plant KPIs.

Ohbeya Participation in various locations in Japan and Ohbeya Area Implementation (Benchmarking from Japanese Project Management) in Turkey Operations.

New Projects Manager

Follow up production preparation activities of an indirect plant project team and 3 direct engineers and report the risky and roadblock items directly to Japanese New Projects Coordinator (Mr Koichi Noguchi) for Japanese OEMs.
Successful implementation of several new items required by customers.

NYS (Yazaki Lean Management System) Leader of 3 EDS plants in Turkey, directly managing 1 leader and 4 technicians, and directly reporting to Plant Manager. Main objective was to recover the NYS team and promote NYS tools in order to increase efficiency and quality level of manufacturing in parallel with widening the NYS approach in the plants.

YEL NYS Conference participation for 2 years with “New Item Implementation in New Projects” and “Indirect Material Reduction to Improve Supply Chain” projects.

Team Activity (Toyota Global Supplier Activity) representative of YEL Operations for 1 year focusing on DPM reduction on P3 area.

Project Management & Lean Implementation Group Leader

Conducted process design and efficiency improvement activities by directly managing 5 engineers and 18 technicians.
(Process Design; project capacity analysis, equipment need analysis, operator analysis, line concept definition, process flow definition and VSM, etc.)
(Efficiency Improvement: Line Balancing, SMED, Spaghetti Analysis, Muda detection, etc.)

Worked on equipment/machinery spare parts reduction project and machine breakdown reduction project with a team of directly reporting 1 department leader, 2 engineers, 24 technicians.

Industrial Engineering Department Leader

Work Instruction creation of lines which were transferred from YOT Tuzla Plant to YOT Gemlik Plant in order to be able to give proper training to new operators in Gemlik plant.

Directly managed 3 technicians for the transfer completion of Mitsubishi lines and their balance out activities 11 months after they were transferred including production management such as efficiency, productivity and NPT analysis, 5 Why analysis, etc.

Continue with capacity planning, work instruction development, process design activities for new coming Japanese OEM projects.
