Dean Hansen

Dean Hansen is a seasoned professional with an extensive background in biotech and pharmaceutical staffing as well as DoD contracting related to chemical munitions and demilitarization programs. Currently, he is a Focus Factory Supervisor at Smith's Detection, where he manages the Manufacturing of Chemical and Biological Detection related equipment and supplies using lean manufacturing principles to increase quality and on-time delivery. In addition, he has 39 union employee direct reports including service, assembly, and technician personnel. He has also studied General at Edgewood High School, Bechtel International at Six Sigma Certification, Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS), Paralegal Studies at Harford Community College, and at Chemical Demilitarization Training Facility. Hansen is also passionate about creating relationships with other professionals and is open to facilitating introductions. He owns several LinkedIn groups related to Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and CBRNE jobs.
