Derrick Crews

Derrick Crews is a highly experienced Law Enforcement Specialist with over 25 years in the field. Currently working for the Town of Kernersville, Derrick holds various roles such as Criminal Investigation Division Supervisor, Internal Affairs Investigator, SWAT Operator/Team Sniper, and Lead Use of Force Instructor. He also specializes in defensive tactics and physical fitness and is a certified instructor for these subjects in two North Carolina police academies. Derrick has an excellent academic record with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from American Military University.

In his previous roles, Derrick was a school resource supervisor, patrol supervisor, and CALEA manager. He is an Adjunct S.C.A.T Instructor at North Carolina Justice Academy and has developed several law enforcement training programs.
