Derek Kuhn

Derek Kuhn, a well-known entrepreneur and engineering expert, has been an active player in the tech and automotive industry for several years. Kuhn completed his Bachelor's degree in engineering at Carleton University, and then began his career journey in several leading technological organizations.

Over the years, he has held several key roles such as President and Chief Executive Officer at Haila, Vice President Sales and Blackberry Technology Solutions at Blackberry, and Board Member at Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association (Apma). Derek served as Senior Vice President at both Sciemetric Instruments and Blackberry IoT. He has worked with leading companies like Nokia and Panasonic Automotive Systems, carrying out different responsibilities such as Strategy Director, Senior Director, and Emerging Technology VP.

Derek has also been an Advisor and Consultant to several companies like Qn Four and Acerta Systems Analytics to provide strategic advice and guidance. Additionally, he has served as an Executive Board Member for the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California and the Chairman of the Board for Broadband Services Forum and Broadband Content Delivery Forum.
