Atmospheric Scientist at NOAA/PMEL

Research scientist working in the Atmospheric Chemistry Group at the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory. We are dedicated to international field campaigns and long term measurements to
determine the impact of atmospheric aerosol particles on climate and air quality. My primary responsibilities include making shipboard measurements of marine aerosols and the analysis of the data collected. Additionally, I work on the physical design of the sampling system, write software for data acquisition and analysis, administer data acquisition and management network, and manage integration of our sampling equipment with the ships. We have studied aerosols all over the world and, most recently, have focused on their impact on the arctic.
