Frank Marks

Frank Marks is a highly educated and experienced meteorologist with a background in both academic research and operational forecasting. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Belknap College, a Master of Science degree in Meteorology, and a Doctor of Science degree in Meteorology, both from the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology. With a strong educational foundation, Marks has established himself as a prominent figure in the field of meteorology.

Marks has held significant roles at various reputable organizations. He has served as the Director at NOAA/AOML within the Hurricane Research Division, where he has made substantial contributions to the understanding and prediction of hurricanes. Prior to his directorial position, Marks worked as a Research Meteorologist at NOAA/AOML, gaining valuable expertise in atmospheric sciences and research methodologies.

In addition to his work in operational forecasting and research, Marks also has experience in academia. He has previously worked as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Miami Rosenstiel School for Marine and Atmospheric Sciences, where he shared his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of meteorologists.
